The Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) is a non-profit
facility, dedicated to public education, research and
animal rescue and rehabilitation. CMA is involved with a
number of marine science research initiatives and
environmental conservation. It provides a home for many
animals rescued and rehabilitated by their stranding
response team, which is one of the nation's most
successful. Although many of these injured or sick
animals are subsequently released, some have become
permanent CMA residents due to the extent of their
injuries or permanent disabilities.
CMA rescue lots of animals everyday and provide
shelter and food for the animals. Some animals are
restored back to perfect health and released back into
the wild. Clearwater Marine Aquarium has staff that are
devoted to maintaining the heath and well being of the
animals. The animals here at Clearwater Marine Aquarium
are treated with good love and excellent food to eat.
The CMA contains figures of dolphins and turtles, it
also has a gift shop where you can go and buy souvenirs
for family or a friend, also on the first floor visit
the catch of the day. The upstairs has a big water tank
with lots of fish and you can also sit in the chairs at
the poll and watch as the fishes swim around the tank.
Check out the beautiful sea grass bed located on the
lower level of the store.
Go and visit the sting rays as they gild through the
water like a bird, see the dolphins as they perform back
flips, spins and jump out the water to say hello. Join
the trainers and have fun with the dolphins as they play
dead and amazingly come back to life.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a educational place to
learn about sea animals get information and knowledge
things that you might not have known about sea animals
and see what they do and how they live, you will really
learn alot about dolphins, turtles, sting rays, sharks
and other animals that you never knew about.
